Can you believe we reached the milestone of 100th episode!? And for this major milestone I had to have on a guest more than worthy of this spot when Bill talks with his friend and a mentor in his life, former U.S. Navy SEAL, Monty Heath.
This is by far my greatest interview to date, not just because of the honor of speaking with one of our Nations ELITE Warriors, but also on how deep and transparent Monty was willing to get during this interview. We talk about his childhood, struggle with past addiction, his time in the SEALS, a few of his missions, his work with many amazing Veterans Organizations, Including the one we met during, Higher Ground.
We also talk about the stigma of PTSD in our military, what we need from the civilian population, our bonding moment and near death experience in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, his podcast The FULL MONTY, and one of the darkest periods in his families life, almost losing his son George to Spinal Meningitis. Monty is willing to get Raw and very real about this emotional period that ended up making them stronger as a family and revealing to him the possibility of a relationship with God. I am not kidding when I say that this episode has it all and is my proudest interview to date. I am truly blessed to have Monty and the entire Heath family in my life. Episode 100 is here and Monty was a catalyst in getting me into a place to accomplish this feat.
