In this Special Veteran’s Day 2020 Edition of Today’s Boondoggle, Bill gets to talk with Army Veteran, Author, and soon to be Pastor, Sergeant First Class Tony Castineira. During this interview Tony talks about his upbringing and when he knew he wanted to serve his Country, some of the places that he got to serve, including the wild times he had in Germany and South Korea. He touches on some of the punishment he received for getting into trouble, and yes it usually involved women and alcohol.
He also talks about the brotherhood formed during his time in the Army, especially with Cleveland’s own Chris Akin of The Classic Metal Show. But we really go deep with not only the successes during his military service, but the low points as well, including when he almost lost everything, including his life. We get real and authentic about the divine intervention and spiritual awakening that took place in his life, and the man he is today. An Author, Church Elder, and growing from the Party Life to a Pastor.
This episode goes really deep as we both share some hard truths about how our lives are being transformed by God everyday. Please take a moment to bow your heads, close your eyes, and fully take in Tony’s amazing prayer at the end of our conversation and experience God’s peace.
